NATICK, Mass. - Cognex Corp., which makes machine vision systems, sensors, and identification readers used in manufacturing, said Friday that its board has approved a quarterly cash dividend of 15 cents a share, a 76 percent increase over the prior quarter's dividend.

The dividend, which was raised from 8.5 cents, is payable on Sept. 12 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 29.
