Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's twins made their public debut Sunday night as their first photos appeared on People magazine's web site.
The cover shot shows the actor parents smiling down on the three week old newborns, Knox and Vivienne Marcheline. A separate photo shows the couple's other biological daughter, Shilo, 2, holding her new sister.
Jolie and Pitt also have three other adopted children , Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; and Zahara, 3.
"It chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time," Jolie told People about daily life at their temporary home at an estate in southern France.
People, which paid for the exclusive U.S. rights to the photos and interview, will feature 19 pages with the family. The issue will be released on Monday.
British magazine Hello! paid for the international rights. The entertainment magazines paid a combined $14 million for the photos, the Associated Press reported, citing sources familiar with the deal. The pair have said they will donate the entire amount to charity.
Jolie says her daughters are picking out the twins clothes, helping change them and holding them.
"It's sweet - they are little mommies," she says.
The twins were born on July 12 in Nice, France.
