Celebrity baby photos have become a hot commodity in recent years, bringing in big money, with the latest set of exclusive pictures of twins from Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt selling for a reported new record of $14 million.

Top entertainment magazines People and Hello! on Monday published photos of Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, who were born on July 12. The babies' photos were seen on a People magazine cover shot Sunday night on the publication's web site.
The total payment was divided between People and Hello, who became the owners of the U.S. and International exclusive rights respectively, according to the Associated Press which quoted a person close to the negotiations. The amount paid by each publication was not disclosed.
Both magazines featured photos of the newborn twins and their parents, along with interviews. People included 19 pages of coverage of the now 8 member-family. The parents have said they will donate the payment to charity.
People also has the record for second and third highest prices ever paid for photos of other celebrities' babies.
In March 2008, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's twins Max and Emme Anthony appeared on the magazine's cover for an estimated $6 million.
In June 2006, Jolie and Pitt's first biological daughter, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, brought in a reported $4.1 million.
The fourth and fifth most expensive baby photos were sold to OK! Magazine.
Actor Matthew McConaughey and his partner Camila Alves were purportedly paid $3 million for their photos together with baby Levi, which appeared on OK's July 23, 2008 issue, the New York Post reported.
The publication also was said to have paid $2 million in 2007 for the first pictures of Danniellynn Smith, the daughter of late TV personality and model Anna Nicole Smith. Ok! Magazine published her picture in April that year after a court ruled that Larry Birkhead was the father.
