Capstead to pay dividend on preferred stock

DALLAS - Capstead Mortgage Corp. said Monday it will pay a regular monthly dividend of 10.5 cents per share on its $1.26 cumulative convertible preferred stock, Series B.

The real estate investment trust said the dividend is payable Aug. 29 to preferred stockholders of record as of Aug. 18.

Capstead also announced new conversion ratios for its preferred stocks.

Effective June 30, each Series B preferred share is convertible into 0.6025 shares of common stock. Effective July 1, each Series A preferred share is convertible into 1.5629 shares of common stock.
