Actress Mary-Kate Olsen, 22, said Monday through her lawyer she had nothing to do with the drugs found in Heath Ledger's home or his body nor does she know where he obtained them, according to reports

"Regarding the Government's investigation, at Ms. Olsen's request, we have provided the Government with relevant information including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr. Ledger's death and the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger consumed," said her lawyer Michael C. Miller in a statement according to ETOnline.

"We don't know the source of the information being quoted in the media regarding the Government's inquiry, but these descriptions are incomplete and inaccurate," the lawyer added.

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency wants to interview the actress as part of a probe of Ledger's death in January at his apartment in New York. Officials said he died of an accidental prescription drug overdose.

Today an anonymous law enforcement official told the Associated Press that Olsen said she won't talk unless she is given immunity.

The official investigation found Ledger's death was due to an accidental overdose of two strong painkillers oxycodone and hydrocodone. Federal authorities are currently trying to find out how the actor got a hold of the drugs.

Investigators at the DEA believe both painkillers were obtained through phony prescriptions or other illegal sources according to the official who also said other drugs found in Ledger's body were prescribed legally by doctors in California and Texas.

Other witnesses including Ledger's ex-girlfriend actress Michelle Williams and doctors have answered to authorities' questions voluntarily, the Associated Press reported.

But despite Olsen's interview rejection, federal investigators have obtained a subpoena that could force Olsen to appear before a grand jury.

Mary-Kate Olsen was a close friend of Heath Ledger. A masseuse that found the actor dead at his New York City apartment called Olsen several times before dialing 911 for an emergency.

According to reports, Olsen sent her personal security guards to Ledger's apartment that day. She was in California.
