Sylvia York, 40, entered the guilty plea to wire fraud charges on Tuesday. Formerly of St. Louis, she now lives in Leander, Texas.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Reap says York made unauthorized payments to her corporate credit card account, paying for extensive travel, clothing and utility bills.

Reap says York has agreed to pay back the money. She could face up to 20 years in prison.

Emmis is based in Indianapolis and is a media company with radio broadcasting and magazine publishing operations.
