"The Great Gig in the Sea" is the name of the first Cruise that will feature music, parties, games, trivia and special guests with the theme of the British band Pink Floyd.

The 3-day cruise will sail on Friday May 1, 2009 departing from Miami to the Bahamas.

The cover band "Think Floyd USA -The American Pink Floyd Show," - will offer a show combining music and visual materials.

Think Floyd USA performed before band's original member Roger Waters at Milwaukee's Summerfest and received personal acclaim from David Gilmour, guitarist of Pink Floyd, according to the Cruise's website.

"The cruise will allow Pink Floyd fans to combine sun and sea with an amazing concert experience," GreatGigintheSea.com notes (which was probably adapted from Pink Floyd's song The Great Gig in the Sky).

Think Floyd USA will perform all of Pink Floyd's classic hits from legendary albums such as Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and the all time classic, The Wall.

The ship has several attractions for travelers including a mini golf course, Carnival Water, Works spray park, a tropical resort-style pool, on board activities, nightlife, casino games and spa.

Tickets range from $379 to $819 per person.
