After Tiger Woods announced that he will be away for the semester due to a knee surgery, the search for the next number one could begin.

Many thought that Phil Mickelson would arise from his position as number 2. Some thought about Ernie Else while the youth was looking at Sergio Garcia, a great talent.

After a four –shot victory in the British Open, where Padraig Harrington pulled off the score 32 on the last 9 in a 50 kilometer-an-hour wind at Royal Birkdale.

This time, a month later Harrington gave answered again and arose to win the PGA's, ending with a 66-66 at Oakland Hills.

Woods is the only one who has won that many in the last 25 years.

He now holds the 3 last majors out of a total of 6 majors.
