Broadband wireless technology company Wi-LAN said both companies agreed to not make further proceedings against each other regarding the Wi-LAN patents that are related to the suit for an unspecified time period.

Wi-LAN said it still has the right to seek damages from the chip maker or file another suit against it for infringement of the related patents.
