`Tropic Thunder' breezes to No. 1 with $25.8M

LOS ANGELES - The action comedy "Tropic Thunder" grabbed the top spot at the box office with $25.8 million, knocking the Batman tale "The Dark Knight" into second-place after four weekends on top.

With a $16.4 million weekend, "The Dark Knight" raised its domestic total to $471.1 million to pass "Star Wars" as No. 2 on the all-time charts behind "Titanic" at $600.8 million.
