The Food and Drug Administration approved the True2go as well as another glucose meter called TRUEresult.
The company said both products provide test results in about 4 seconds using as little as a half microliter of blood.
Shares of Home Diagnostics Inc. fell 3 cents Wednesday to close at $9.38.
