The Irving, Texas-based engineering and construction contractor lobbied Congress and federal agencies on funding for nuclear facilities and the Job Corps and to monitor labor legislation and appointments to the National Labor Relations Board.
In the April-to-June period, Fluor lobbied the Department of Defense and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on issues related to reconstruction in Iraq and the U.S. State Department about Fluor's construction of U.S. embassies, according to the report filed with the House clerk's office.
Howie Lind, who was special assistant to the director of Iraq reconstruction for the Secretary of the Army, is among those registered to lobby for Fluor.
