Dana has been hit hard by the slumping U.S. auto industry and announced earlier this month that it will cut 3,000 jobs in its North American work force by the end of the year.
Dana has about 175 employees at its Toledo headquarters. The company said Thursday it will move those employees into Dana's technology center in Maumee by September 2009.
A Toledo-based real estate investment trust, Health Care REIT, plans to move its 75 employees into the former Dana building.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
