SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Chinese solar cell maker Solarfun Power Holdings Co. Ltd. said Wednesday it will supply a subsidiary of Germany's Q-Cells AG with photovoltaic modules for three years.

Under the deal, Q-Cells International will purchase from Solarfun a minimum of 100 megawatts of modules per year from 2009 through 2011.
Financial terms were not released.
Solarfun said the companies also intend to cooperate on the development of highly efficient and low cost photovoltaic solar modules.
