NEW YORK - Shares of some top chemicals companies are up at noon:

CEM	1.17	-0.06
DOW	17.06	0.44
DD	22.01	0.06
ROH	71.06	-0.19

Chemtura rose $.10 or 1.5 percent, to $6.63.

Dow Chemical rose $.88 or 2.6 percent, to $34.51.

DuPont rose $.95 or 2.1 percent, to $45.29.

Rohm & Haas rose $.03 or percent, to $75.24.
