ATLANTA - Mueller Water Products Inc., which makes infrastructure and flow control products, said Tuesday Robert G. Leggett has been named chief operating officer.
Leggett, 49, will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company's three divisions--Mueller Co., U.S. Pipe and Anvil International, the company said.
Previously, Leggett was senior vice president for the Americas and Europe for Armstrong Building Products, a division of building products maker Armstrong World Industries Inc.
Shares of Mueller Water Products rose 9 cents to $10.96 in midday trading.
