Movado founder, Chairman Grinberg plans to retire

PARAMUS, N.J. - Watch maker Movado Group Inc. said Thursday that founder and Chairman Gedalio Grinberg plans to retire at the end of fiscal 2009.

Grinberg, 76, will be succeeded by his son, President and Chief Executive Efraim Grinberg. Gedalio Grinberg will serve as chairman emeritus after his retirement.
