Jessica Robinson, 27, from Sandee , Utah became the first contender to win a million dollars on NBC's TV show "Deal or No Deal" this week.
"Oh my Gosh I have no Idea!" Robinson said when - in the middle of shouts and celebration at the show- was asked what she felt about it, according to NBC. "You won a million dollars!" she was reminded by some of the staff of the program. "I know, that has never happened!," Robinson said mesmerized.
Robinson turned down the banker's offer of $561,000 to become the first to take $1,000,000. "That was crazy, that was a crazy person that played the game," she told to People magazine.
Her husband and baby girl were with her at the show. Robinson said they are planning to buy a car and a house in Austin. "I'll buy my kids toys from stores instead of garage sales. To be able to take the burden off of my husband being the breadwinner--that gives me peace of mind," Robinson said according to People.
"How amazing is that. I've been waiting 4 years to give away a million dollars. It's a wonderful feeling to give it away and to a young family that's having a baby... I'm just beside myself," said host Howie Mandel at the show.
A model at the show, said she got goose bumps and almost cried after the case with the $1,000,000 signal was revealed.
"Deal or No Deal" series premiered in 2005 and airs Mondays on NBC.
