The T. Marzetti Company, which is the specialty food division of Lancaster Colony Corp., said it is recalling a limited number of its Girard's Honey Dijon Peppercorn dressing because it may have the back label for its French dressing.
The peppercorn product contains eggs, which is not declared as an ingredient on the French dressing label. People who have allergies to egg run the risk of serious allergic reaction if they consume this product, the company said.
The incorrectly labeled products were distributed across the West Coast.
