Northwest Pipe signs 2 projects worth $26M

VANCOUVER, Wash. - Northwest Pipe Co., a manufacturer of steel pipes, said Thursday it had signed two contracts worth $26 million.

The Vancouver, Wash.-based pipe company signed contracts with S.J. Louis Construction of Mansfield, Texas, for a Los Angeles water project and Garney Construction of Kansas City, Mo., for a project in the city of Aurora, Colo.

Northwest Pipe primarily makes pipes for use in water transmission in North America and other uses in construction, agriculture and other industries.

Shares closed Thursday at $53.41, and have traded in a range of $31.65 to $61.70 in the past 52 weeks.
