Warner Music Group signs deal with EMI Music

NEW YORK - Warner Music Group Corp., whose artists include Linkin Park and Madonna, said Monday it signed a license deal to market and distribute EMI Music releases in South East Asia.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Warner Music Group will be the exclusive local physical and digital distributor of EMI Music's products in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea and Thailand.

The multiyear agreement expands on an existing relationship between the two companies.

EMI Music, whose artists include Coldplay, Kylie Minogue and Pink Floyd, is a unit of EMI Group Ltd.
