Who is Günter Parche?

Günter Parche is the German man who stabbed tennis player Monica Seles during a quarterfinal tennis match in Hamburg Germany in 1993.

Parche caused Seles -who by then was the number one player in the World- to leave the sport that year because of an injury in her upper back.

Seles came back to the tennis court in 1995 but couldn´t catch up with her exceptional level before the incident. For more: BBC News

they should've put this guy in jail for a lot longer than 2 years and then a few years probation. he's one demented sick freak. if he'd have done this in 2000 instead of 1993 he'd probably still be in jail or a mental institution. crazy german nazi!
