People should not expect privacy when Diddy throws a big party, a judge told a 28-year old hedge fund manager who sued the rapper after a topless photo of her at the event was published.
Maria Kristina Dominguez lost a $3 million invasion of privacy suit against the rapper and Vibe magazine, which published the photo in its November 2006 issue with the caption "Mermaids gone Wild."
The photo of her dressed as a mermaid at a swimming pool was taken at a 2003 East Hampton party thrown and appeared as a feature about Diddy's parties over the years.
Judge Doris Ling-Cohan said his parties attract attention from the public and many news organizations, according to the New York Daily News.
Dominguez said she didn't give permission for the photo to be taken and said its publication gave her "mental strain and distress and disturbance of peace of mind" while harming her reputation and causing her to lose certain business opportunities.
