Gina Carano in Maxim Photo Shoot

Martial arts fighter Gina Carano will appear in men's magazine Maxim this month.

Carano, who specializes in Muay Thai boxing, is also known as "Crush" on the American Gladiators sports competition show.

When asked about the role she plays in the world of mixed martial arts fighting, she notes:

"I am a recognized female in the sport, but I don't think that I am the face of women's MMA," Carano said, according to reports today. "It's just a label. I'm Gina Carano. You can label me that."
