TV Channel, National Geographic postponed its live broadcast of the "Flight of the Jet Man" scheduled for Thursday after Yves Rossy, the star of the show said the weather could put his life at risk.

The channel has now announced on its website that the online broadcast will be held Friday, Sep. 26 at 7:30 a.m. EST. Tomorrow Rossy, also known as the 'Jet Man' is expected to make a historical record for being the first person to fly alone across the English Channel using a single jet-propelled wing invented by himself.

Press and cameras were reportedly ready to capture the flight from France to the United Kingdom but clouds started to appear and he had to postpone the quest that could put his life in risk.

"I have only one life and I don't want to lose it," Rossy said Thursday from Calais, France where he attempted to depart, according to the Timesonline. "My eyes are my best instruments and in these conditions it's just too dangerous," he added according to the Independent.

This is the second time Rossy, 49, of Switzerland has to postpone the flight due to poor weather conditions.
