NEW YORK - Shares of some top commercial banks companies were mixed at the close of trading:

Quotes

FHN	8.08	0.11
NCC	1.6	0.01
WB	4.13	0.03
ZION	25.9	-0.41

First Horizon fell $.73 or 6.1 percent, to $11.27.

National City fell $1.28 or 25.7 percent, to $3.71.

Wachovia fell $3.70 or 27.0 percent, to $10.00.

Zions Bancorp rose $2.47 or 6.0 percent, to $43.98.
