Boehner's ovations took place at a Republican meeting, exclusive for members, The Politico reported today.

Boehner and the leaders of the House Republican do not support President's Bush bailout plan, intended for the government to help financial institutions to begin providing credit again by buying up the mortgage assets which they have not been able to sell.

GOP members have on the contrary, offered an alternative to the bailout plan, but a bill hasn't been yet released.
