NEW YORK - Shares of some top gold companies are mixed at noon:

Quotes

ABX	27.05	6.45
GFI	7.3	1.97
GG	24.22	5.19
NEM	28.79	5.79

Barrick Gold rose $.25 or .7 percent, to $36.75.

Gold Fields rose $.20 or 2.1 percent, to $9.62.

Goldcorp rose $.13 or .4 percent, to $34.65.

Newmont Mining fell $.16 or .4 percent, to $41.40.
