Nam Tai Electronics names Chan Sze Chung CFO

WASHINGTON - Nam Tai Electronics Inc. said Friday it has named Chan Sze Chung acting chief financial officer, effective immediately.

Chan joined Nam Tai as a financial controller of a company subsidiary in 2000 and was later promoted to financial controller of the parent company in April 2001. He replaces John Farina, who has resigned due to personal reasons. Farina was named to the post in May 2007.

Nam Tai Electronics, based in Macau, provides electronics manufacturing and design services.

The company's shares fell 18 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $8.39 in morning trading.
