The company sold its Generale Condimentaire business to Lesieur, which is indirectly held by Sofiproteol, the financial unit of the French oilseed producer.
In July, Campbell said it would sell the business to focus on its simple-meals category in the country, including its "Liebig" and "Royco" soup brands.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The business sold includes sauce and mayonnaise products sold under the "Lesieur" brand in France and a manufacturing plant in Dunkerque, France, with a staff of 100. Campbell previously licensed the "Lesieur" name from Lesieur and made annual payments for the use of the brand.
