NEW YORK - Shares of some top biotechnology companies were mixed at the close of trading:

AMGN	54.9	4.77
BIIB	39.64	-0.13
CELG	47.5	-3.54
DNA	72.74	-0.29
GILD	41.46	-0.07

Amgen fell $.09 or .2 percent, to $59.18.

Biogen Idec fell $.70 or 1.4 percent, to $49.59.

Celgene rose $.03 or percent, to $63.31.

Genentech fell $2.18 or 2.5 percent, to $86.50.

Gilead Sciences fell $.33 or .7 percent, to $45.30.
