BELOIT, Wis. - Regal Beloit Corp., a manufacturer of mechanical and electrical motion control and power generation products, announced late Tuesday it has acquired Dutchi Motors B.V. for undisclosed terms.

Dutchi is a Netherlands-based distributor of industrial motors--including Regal Beloit's Hwada motor products--in Europe, South Africa, Russia and the Middle East.
Dutchi, whose results will be reported as part of Regal Beloit's electrical segment, is expected to add between $11 million and $13 million to sales and a penny to 2 cents in earnings per share for the year.
Sales for Dutchi in 2009 are expected to be about $70 million to $75 million and the addition to earnings per share are expected to be between 5 cents and 8 cents, Regal Beloit said.
