NEW YORK - Shares of some top construction companies were mixed at the close of trading:

Quotes

FLR	31.9	2.34
FWLT	16.24	2.21
PWR	11.67	0.95
SGR	13.88	1.82

Fluor s rose $1.88 or 4.2 percent, to $46.76.

Foster Wheeler rose $1.66 or 5.5 percent, to $31.91.

Quanta Services fell $1.64 or 7.3 percent, to $20.96.

Shaw Group fell $1.06 or 4.4 percent, to $22.77.
