The woman, Stacy Elizabeth Beshear, was arrested on Sept. 18 when she pulled up to Walton's car and pretended to fire at him with a fake gun. She pleaded innocent to a misdemeanor count of stalking. Walton said the woman had been bothering for about a year.
"When she pulled up to my house and started yelling at me after she fired a fake gun at me, I couldn't help but to start yelling back at her," Walton said according to the Associated Press. "She was in my driveway. But when we were interacting, I could tell by the stuff she was saying that she's not all there in the head — which makes me feel bad for her," he added.
Beshear's trial is scheduled for Nov. 6. If convicted, she could face up to a year in county jail, according to Jane Robinson, a district attorney spokeswoman.
