Apple Inc rose $4.14 or 4.6 percent, to $93.30.

Dell Inc rose $.41 or 3.0 percent, to $13.96.

Hewlett Packard rose $1.73 or 4.4 percent, to $41.41.

IBM rose $.92 or 1.0 percent, to $96.57.

Lexmark rose $.65 or 2.2 percent, to $30.04.
