Global Cash Access signs 20 foreign deals

LAS VEGAS - Global Cash Access Holdings Inc., which provides cash access services at casinos, said Wednesday that it has signed 20 deals to offer its services in Europe, Canada and the Caribbean.

The Las Vegas-based company's GCA unit has signed up 11 properties in the Czech Republic, its first entry into this market. GCA also has three agreements in Canada and one each in Switzerland, Antigua, Aruba, Belize, Curacao and Puerto Rico.

GCA provides casino customers with credit card advances and debit card withdrawals from its QuikCash machines as well as from casino cashiers.

Shares of Global Cash Access lost 16 cents, or 4.6 percent, to $3.41 in morning trading.
