Apollo Group rose $1.43 or 2.7 percent, to $54.64.

Career Education rose $.06 or .4 percent, to $14.26.

DeVry fell $.11 or .2 percent, to $44.88.

Strayer Education fell $4.50 or 2.3 percent, to $190.08.
