NEW YORK - Shares of some top machinery companies are mixed at noon:

CAT	37.52	-2.13
DE	30.98	-2.77
MTW	6.64	-0.6
TEX	12.41	-1

Caterpillar fell $.09 or .2 percent, to $47.56.

Deere s rose $2.03 or 5.4 percent, to $40.02.

Manitowoc rose $.70 or 5.5 percent, to $13.46.

Terex rose $.61 or 3.0 percent, to $21.22.
