Raytheon gets $171.1M Navy deal for torpedoes

WASHINGTON - Defense contractor Raytheon Co. received an additional $171.1 million Navy contract for the MK58, a lightweight hybrid torpedo, and the MK-48, which is designed to combat fast, deep-diving nuclear submarines and surface ships, the Pentagon said late Thursday.
