WASHINGTON - Defense contractor Raytheon Co. received an additional $171.1 million Navy contract for the MK58, a lightweight hybrid torpedo, and the MK-48, which is designed to combat fast, deep-diving nuclear submarines and surface ships, the Pentagon said late Thursday.

Shares of the Waltham, Mass.-based company fell $4.17, or 8.4 percent, to close at $45.59 after earlier hitting a 52-week low of $45.40.
