BlizzCon 2008 Kicks Off with 15,000 fans

Blizzard Entertainment's two-day gaming event BlizzCon 2008 is expecting around 15,000 fans to celebrate Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo franchises at the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California .

The event -reportedly sold out- kicks off Friday at 11:00 a.m. local time with Diablo III and World of Warcraft panels, Starcraft and World of Warcraft tournaments (quarter finals), contests and comedy performances, among many other activities.

BlizzCon 2008 is running through Saturday 5:30 p.m. local time.
