Joey Chestnut from San Jose, California added one more record to his competitive eating career after he ate 45 pizza slices in 10 minutes at a contest in New York City last Sunday.

The International Federation of Competitive Eating (IFCE) ranks Chestnut #1 worldwide, followed by #2 Patrick Bertoletti (previous pizza eating record holder with 22 slices in 10 minutes) and #3 Takeru Kobayashi.

Chestnut won the 4th July Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs and Buns contest eating 66 in 12 minutes in 2007 and recently won a contest in Tennessee last month by eating 93 Krystal hamburgers in 8 minutes, beating Kobayashi.

Among his achievements are eating 182 chicken wings in 30 minutes, 47 grilled cheese sandwiches in 10 minutes and drinking a gallon of milk in 41 seconds.
