A disabled man in England that was viciously assaulted with an iron bar has spoken out about his ordeal after his attacker was jailed for 15 months.
Trevor Goddard, 53, said he still feels very scared when walking through Warminster town centre after Goddard and his friend Ian Wells, 42, were hit with an iron bar.
The attack took place on East Street, Warminster, on June 29.
The23-year-old attacker, Neil Matthews, was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment at Swindon Crown Court last Thursday.
Goddard now has to walk with a walking stick after recovering from a brain hemorrhage almost five years ago. He also has osteoarthritis to his spine and neck.
