Google Offers Poll Locator Map, Polling Hours

03 November 2008 @ 05:48 pm EDT

As a preparation for election day on Tuesday, Google is offering an online poll locator, whenever search engine users type the words "where do I vote" "where can I vote" or "polling places."

Google will feature a special box where users can type the address where they are registered to vote. That will then result in a map locating the voter's local polling station.

If voters don't know where they are registered to vote they should go to the website www.canivote.org and type their personal information.
