The U.S. Presidential Election has finally arrived and in the spirit of patriotism, Starbucks is offering complimentary size tall cup of brewed coffee to anyone who requests it on Tuesday.

The coffee giant had initially planned to only offer it to anyone who voted on election day, but changed to make it available to all -- whether they voted or not -- after concerns surfaced that the promotion could violate election laws.
"To ensure we are in compliance with election law, we are extending our offer to all customers who request a tall brewed coffee," Starbucks spokeswoman Valerie O'Neil said in an email to WSJ.
It is the first time the chain has done such a promotion.
"If you care enough to vote, we care enough to give you a free cup of coffee," the one-minute ad states.
