BALTIMORE - Television broadcasting company Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. revised its fourth-quarter net broadcast revenue outlook for the second time in a month due to stronger-than-expected political advertising.

Sinclair now expects quarterly net broadcast revenue to be down in the low single-digit percentage range compared with a prior forecast for a low to mid single-digit decline.
The company initially predicted last month that fourth-quarter net broadcast revenue would be down in the mid to high single-digit percentage range.
Sinclair anticipates about $25.6 million in fourth-quarter political advertising. But the company warned that its core ad sales continue to slip due to softening economic conditions and crowding out from political ads.
The company also said a change in its dividend tax rate or a worsening economy could hurt its dividend.
