MINNEAPOLIS - The board of transportation services provider C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. said Thursday it will increase the company's quarterly cash dividend to 24 cents per share from 22 cents.

The dividend is payable on Jan. 2 to shareholders of record on Dec. 5.
As of Thursday the company reported approximately 169.2 million shares outstanding.
This dividend hike comes two weeks after the company reported a 24 percent jump in its third-quarter profit.
Shares of C.H. Robinson fell $1.55, or 3 percent, to close earlier at $50.54.
