SAN JOSE, Calif. - Semiconductor supplier Tessera Technologies Inc. said Monday it has signed a deal with communications gear maker Motorola Inc. for an option to license its chip scale packaging technology.
The option enables Motorola to enter into a pre-negotiated license agreement with Tessera and settle all outstanding litigation between the companies, the company said.
Terms of the agreement, including the time period and financial details, were not disclosed.
