The company said its projection assumes a 36 percent effective tax rate. Non-GAAP full-year results are pegged at $1.11 per share on revenue of $269 million.

For the fiscal first quarter, Redmond-based Concur expects to earn 8 cents per share, or 20 cents per share excluding items. It forecasts first-quarter revenue of $58 million.

Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters expect Concur to earn 68 cents per share during the full year and 15 cents during the first quarter. Those estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Meanwhile, Wall Street expects the company's revenue to be $264.4 million for the 2009 fiscal year and $59.8 million for the first quarter.

Also Tuesday, Concur said it earned $5.6 million, or 11 cents per share, during the three months ending Sept. 30. That compares with a profit of $4.1 million, or 10 cents per share, during the same period last year.

Revenue grew 61 percent to $57.5 million up from $35.7 million a year ago.

Concur shares climbed $2.41, or 11.9 percent, to $22.70 in after-hours trading Tuesday after ending the session at $20.29.
