The parade themed "Legacy of Honor" will begin on Fifth Avenue, from 26th street through 56th Street at 11:30 a.m. It will feature over 20,000 participants including veterans from all eras, active duty military, ROTC and JrROTC units, civic and youth groups, marching bands, and floats, military and vintage vehicles.

All the participants will march or ride in review past the official Reviewing Stand located in front of the New York Public Library in 41st street. There, bleachers will be available for spectators.

The parade will be preceded by an Opening Ceremony at 10 a.m. at the Eternal Light Monument in Madison Square Park located on 5th Avenue at 24th Street.
