LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Churchill Downs Inc., the racetrack owner that hosts the Kentucky Derby, said Wednesday it had come to an agreement to transmit live racing signals from its Fair Grounds facility in New Orleans to digital wagering platforms.

The agreement, with the Louisiana Horsemen's Benevolent and Protective Association, covers the upcoming 2008-09 racing meet at the track, which begins Friday and ends March 29.
The Fair Grounds' signal will be available via a variety of online wagering providers including TwinSpires.com, XpressBet and Youbet.
Shares fell $1.52, or 4.8 percent, to close at $30.44 on Wednesday.
